| Please note that "crystalline" decal tiles and murals have certain inherent problems which are beyond our control. They are beautiful but definitely more fragile than ordinary decals. The frit used to give the decal its raised effect inevitably explodes in the kiln and migrates to places on the tile that are not meant to have this effect. Also, crystalline decals are fired at a higher temperature than normal decals, and this sometimes causes the tile onto which they are fired to become less shiny. Mineral deposits are left on the tile, and, in some cases, the decal simply will not fire properly onto the tile. We are not responsible for such outcomes and do not guarantee crystalline decals. Most of these decals, however, turn out beautifully, and we sell quite a lot of them. |
